How can the Research Librarians help faculty with teaching and learning?

Answer

Subject specialists, can partner with faculty members by helping in creating course Research Guides and providing online library instruction, demonstrating library technologies and online resources, as well as highlighting areas of our collection that may be especially pertinent to a specific class or project.

Research Librarians can order materials for a wide variety of courses and suggest newly published titles relevant to a special class or a new curriculum. Just ask the library to purchase materials that you’d like to use for your class and show to your students.

Your subject Research Librarian would be happy to schedule a consultation with you to discuss your teaching and research needs. You can contact the Library for help.

The ArtCenter Library is dedicated to building successful collaborations with faculty in order to strengthen teaching and learning across the campus and support pedagogical goals. Our staff is always ready to help as we work together towards student success!
