I don't have a disc player at home. How can I watch DVDs and Blu-rays checked out from the Library?

Answer

The library has portable USB Blu-ray players and external DVD drives for patrons to check out along with DVDs and Blu-rays. Some external drives plays only DVDs and others play both Blu-rays and regular DVDs. A wireless internet connection is required for playing Blu-rays, and Mac users will have to download a driver as well in order to play Blu-rays. Even if you don’t have a disk drive on your laptop or computer, you can still watch any of the thousands of movies the library has on DVD or Blu-ray. Take advantage of our extensive film and media collection, some of which aren’t available on streaming services. Email the Library to ask for a player. You can check them out for the same length of time as DVDs and Blu-rays.
